Assume the outside temperature is 15 ° with a relative humidity of 75%. As soon as this air is moved inside and heated to 70 °, the humidity drops significantly to 10%. This means that this time of year you need to humidify the air in your homes and businesses to make your surroundings more comfortable. In some cases, just a few houseplants or boiling a pot of water will keep the air sufficiently humidified.
If you have an oven that will keep you warm, you definitely have dry air.
If you have boiler heating in your house, your indoor humidity will be much higher because the heating process does not blow dry air into the house.
