Superior Boiler Opens New Manufacturing Plant

Superior Boiler held a major opening and ribbon cutting event on September 3rd at its third and newest manufacturing facility in Hutchinson, Kansas. The 75,000-square-foot building has been renovated to house Superior’s water pipe division. The central location in the USA enables barrier-free shipping to any location in North America.

The grand opening also included the launch of Superior’s newest boiler model, the Cheyenne, a hot water condensing boiler for applications in large hospitals, schools, universities and office buildings.

The new facility, called Plant 3, contains a painting booth with a new collection and filter system and, for the colder months, floors with radiant heating operated by a superior hot water boiler. The first water-tube boilers manufactured in the factory will be completed by the end of September.

The facility is located on an area of ​​18 hectares and allows further expansion if necessary.

Superior Boiler manufactures industrial water tube and flexible tube boilers, Scotch marine and vertical fire tube boilers for process steam, hot water and waste heat recovery as well as highly efficient hot water condensing boilers.
