Burgum waives hours of service for propane haulers amid low inventories | News
BISMARCK, ND – Governor Doug Burgum today signed an executive order granting hours of service to drivers of commercial vehicles carrying propane.
North Dakota is facing extremely low propane inventories due to market conditions impacted by severe seasonal weather and increased demand for heating oil, the order said. The waiver of duty hours will help transport companies avoid delays and provide propane to meet state needs.
The 30-day waiver is effective immediately. All road safety and vehicle compliance regulations continue to apply.
